My Journey from kid to
Student Researcher

Welcome to my website! I'm Woody Tai, a high school student with a strong curiosity for how things work, especially in technology and science. My journey has taken me from web development to chemistry, and I'm excited to share my experiences with you.

Currently, I study at the Chinese Foundation Secondary School, where I focus on Chemistry, Biology, and ICT (Information Communication Technology). My passion for tech has taught me the importance of critical thinking and creativity.

Outside of academics, I'm involved in several extracurricular activities. As a General Officer in the Nominated Student Council, I managed our social media and doubled our follower count. In the Computer Club, I served as Chairperson, organizing events and collaborating with the Robotics Club for cross-curricular education. I also co-hosted talks with Dr. Patrick YUE for the Career and Life Planning Team, connecting with external organizations.

This past summer, I conducted a Selective Research Internship at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) β€” Faculty of Science, working with Dr. Lam Hon-Ming and under the supervision of his PostDoctoral Fellow Dr. Yung Wai-Shing Vincent. I'm dedicated to learning beyond the classroom, honing my skills in full-stack web development through courses at Preface.

As Steve Jobs said, β€œThe people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” I hope to make a difference.
